Last week, 1 set of Mud Gas Separator and a few sets of Mud Guns were manufactured and ready to start serving for a project of GN's client in Middle East.

The Mud Gas Separator is specialized equipment designed to address the intrusion of gas into the drilling mud. When drilling mud experiences gas intrusion, its weight and viscosity proportions deviate significantly, failing to meet drilling requirements. This deviation can lead to wellbore instability and, in extreme cases, result in a blowout. Timely treatment is crucial to prevent such incidents. GN's ZYQ series Mud Gas Separator, equipped with the Electric Ignition Device, ensures a smooth drilling process. It is available in both normal pressure and pressure auto-control variants, offering the best solution to prevent gas invasion in drilling mud.

The GNNJQ Series Mud Gun is designed as a bottom-type mud gun. These mud guns serve the purpose of providing additional or primary mixing in mud tanks, and their effectiveness depends on factors such as the number in use and the size of the pit. For optimal results, they are strategically placed in tank corners to prevent solids from settling, while a mud agitator is typically positioned in the center of the tank.

The quantity of mud guns required is contingent upon the size of the tank. Typically, mud guns are installed along the mud line of the mud tank. Users can choose between 2-inch and 3-inch mud guns based on the size of the inlet pipe. Additionally, there are two types of mud guns available: fixed mud guns and rotary mud guns, each offering distinct structural features to cater to specific needs.
